“ We visited Gray’s on a busy Saturday for lunch without a reservation at 12:15, but were pleasantly surprised when they offered us a table reservation for 45 minutes later. This gave us the perfect opportunity to explore the charming downtown area, and our table was ready earlier than expected at 12:45. Our server, Kelsey, was exceptional, keeping our water and tea glasses full while checking on us just the right amount throughout the meal. The service was quick—our food arrived within about 15 minutes—and everything was delicious. We tried the chicken salad sandwiches, which were outstanding, paired with the best fries we’ve ever had. The pork belly lettuce wraps were equally amazing. The menu offers a unique taste that really sets this place apart. Gray’s has a cool vibe with rustic chic decor—exposed brick, warm wood accents, and vintage touches that give it a laid-back yet stylish atmosphere. Normally, I like to order beef, but I couldn't resist the swordfish with wild rice, carrots, and beets. The swordfish was cooked perfectly, and you will not hear any complaints about the sides from me. If you are ever in town or in Nashville, you should definitely head over to Grays ”

The restaurant is set inside a beautifully restored historic pharmacy, and the decor really honors its roots—such a cool vibe. We were seated near the front where live music was playing, and although we were initially worried it might be too loud, the volume was just right—it added to the atmosphere without being overwhelming. Service exceeded expectations. Doug, our server, was fantastic—super friendly, laid-back, and knowledgeable. He walked us through the menu and drinks, making the whole experience even better. Everything we tried was delicious. We started with fresh, flavorful salads, ahi tuna tartare, and smashed potatoes. For mains, we had the seafood pasta, ribeye steak, and fried chicken—every dish was spot on. You could really taste the quality and freshness in every bite. We’ll absolutely be coming back.
